Hot Start to 2018 18/2/18
It has been quite a hot start to 2018 with 7 junior archers doing our Come 'N Try Course, Certificates to be awarded next week. A couple of returning adult archers have also been assessed as competent to become members as well. At least 4 members, Ben Ong, Jim Barber, June and Lee. are heading down the hill to Penrith City Archers to compete in the Metropolitan double 720 tournament in a couple of weeks. As well as this a number of our intermediate archers are on their way to completing their Ausbow qualifying distance rounds, Cody Buck will probably be the first club member to qualify for all his distances up to 45m. He shot a 236 out of 300 last week at 35m.
Our next Beginners course won't be after we have done this years Ironfest. Which will be held on April 21st and 22nd, at Lithgow Showgrounds.
